Our pages
Nirmand News publishes on Instagram under pages named “Nirmand News” followed by the city's name. We start with Indore.
Only pages listed here or linked from nirmand.com are run by us.
Where our facts come from
- Public tender notices on government procurement portals.
- Official announcements and press releases from government departments and local bodies.
- Public records such as RERA registrations of housing projects.
- Our own reporting, and information sent in by readers, which we check before we use it.
Every number, place and date in a story comes from a source we can show. If we cannot confirm a fact, we leave it out.
How a story is made
- Our team chooses the story and checks the facts.
- Scripts may be drafted with the help of AI and are reviewed by our team before publishing.
- Voice-overs may be made with an AI voice. Maps, graphics and some images may be made or edited with AI tools.
- Photos come from our own team or from sources whose licence allows us to use them. We credit photos where the licence asks for it.
Labelling AI
Anything made or substantially changed by AI, such as an AI voice or an AI-made image, is labelled in the video or its caption. We do not create AI images of real people, and we do not present AI images as real photos of an event. See our AI content policy.
Fairness and independence
- We report development news to help residents: what is being built, where, at what cost, and what changes for them.
- We do not take money to publish or change news. If a post is ever paid for or sponsored, it is clearly labelled as such.
- We follow the Norms of Journalistic Conduct of the Press Council of India and the Code of Ethics under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it. When an error is confirmed, we correct the caption or post a correction, and we remove a video if the mistake changes the meaning of the story. Report an error to ops@nirmand.com with the link to the post and what is wrong.
Complaints
